Habiba Al Mar'ashi – Co-founder and Chairperson of Emirates Environmental Group

A pioneer in environmental advocacy, Habiba Al Mar'ashi co-founded the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) in 1991. 


Under her leadership, EEG has spearheaded numerous initiatives, including recycling campaigns, environmental workshops, and community clean-up projects.

H.E. Razan Al Mubarak – Managing Director of the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi

As the Managing Director of the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi, she has been instrumental in initiatives like the reintroduction of the scimitar-horned oryx into the wild. 


Al Mubarak's leadership extends to her role as the president of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, where she advocates for global biodiversity and sustainable development. 


Laila Mostafa Abdullatif – Director General of Emirates Nature-WWF

Laila Mostafa Abdullatif leads Emirates Nature-WWF, an organization dedicated to promoting nature-based solutions for climate and biodiversity challenges. 


Her leadership focuses on integrating environmental conservation with community development, ensuring that sustainability efforts benefit both nature and people.


Noora Al Mazroui – Innovator in Sustainable Product Development

Emirati entrepreneur Noora Al Mazroui has transformed date pits, traditionally discarded as waste, into a range of sustainable products, including energy drinks, cosmetics, and food items. 


Her innovative approach not only reduces waste but also promotes the sustainable use of local resources, setting a precedent for eco-conscious entrepreneurship in the UAE.


Shaikha Al Nowais – Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization

Shaikha Al Nowais made history as the first woman to be appointed Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
