Emirati Women’s Day - celebrated annually on 28th August - honours the achievements, creativity, and resilience of Emirati women. Established in 2015 by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “The Mother of the Nation,” this day reflects the UAE’s commitment to women’s empowerment and their pivotal role in shaping the nation’s present and future.
